This morning, and following the development of the program of events of the Week against Gender Violence that is taking place in Archena, two coordination tables have also taken place at the City Council.
The first has been on Public Safety and has been convened by this Department and composed of the owner, Antonio José Palazón Guillamón, other municipal representatives and other bodies of the State related to the safety and techniques of CAVI de Archena (Center for Specialized Assistance Women Victims of Gender Violence).
The second has been convened by the Department of Women itself, and composed of the responsible mayor Mari Carmen Alcolea and representatives of the Civil Guard, Local Police, social workers of the Health Center, techniques of the Department of Women, representatives of the SEF (employment and training service), representatives of the IES Vicente Medina and Pedro Guillén, of the Ope College and CAVI staff.
Subject: prevention and citizen awareness, mainly of young people, in all matters related to the equality of women and men against gender violence.
