Two people had to be hospitalized yesterday as a result of the smoke they inhaled in two fires registered in Murcia and Archena.

The firefighters of the capital rescued, after 11 o’clock in the morning, a young man, aged 19, from inside his apartment, in a building of seven floors of the Infante Juan Manuel neighborhood, after being injured by smoke inhalation because of a fire. The health workers were able to assist him ‘on site’ and then transfer him to the Reina Sofía Hospital, according to 112. In Archena, a neighbor of Molina Street also requested medical assistance after a fire at his home, and was transferred to Morales Meseguer.

Mula firefighters, meanwhile, had to act at dawn yesterday to put down a fire in a house on the street of Las Mizas, where they found a lot of clothing and blankets accumulated, which made it difficult to extinguish. The Local Police went to the place and attended to the owner of the house, who did not need medical assistance. The firefighters indicated that the fire had affected the structure due to the high temperatures.
