JUMILLA / Approved the bases for the granting of sports subsidies by competitive competition

The extraordinary plenary held today has also approved a technical modification in the bases for the granting of subsidies in international cooperation.

Today an extraordinary plenary session was held in which the regulatory bases for the granting of subsidies destined to the realization of sports activities in a competitive competition regime were approved and will be awarded according to four different lines: sports activities programs in federated competition ( line 1), sports initiation programs (line 2), organization of sporting events in Jumilla (line 3) or program for individual athletes competing in regional, national or international events (line 4). PSOE, IU-LV and not attached councilor have voted in favor and PP has abstained.

The credit destined for these grants is, as approved in the 2018 Municipal Budget, of 30,000 euros. Line 1 will be assigned 40%, while lines 2, 3 and 4 will be assigned 30, 20 and 10% respectively. The applications will be presented in the General Register of the City Council, once the call is published.

Likewise, the modifications of the regulatory bases for the granting of subsidies in a regime of competitive concurrence in matters of international cooperation have been approved unanimously. It deals with the rules for the realization of projects of social cooperation, humanitarian action and education for development. The modifications are technical in order to facilitate the subsequent justification.

Two different subsidy lines have been established again with 20,000 euros allocated for all of them, according to the Municipal Budget 2018. One for local projects with which it is intended to carry out awareness and education actions in the municipality of Jumilla. In order to create a solidarity conscience and generate personal and social changes that enable fair international relations. A second line for international projects whose objective is to satisfy the basic needs of groups or disadvantaged areas of less developed countries, as well as to carry out emergency actions in cases of disasters that cause humanitarian crises.

The project for the construction of 288 niches and 62 graves in the Municipal Cemetery, corresponding to POS 2018-19 after the correction of an error in it, has also been approved unanimously.
