A large group of members of the Association of Entrepreneurs and Merchants of Segura (ASECOM) visited on the morning of Friday, March 15, the artisanal cheese factory AMECO, located in El Paraje de La Hornera in Molina de Segura. «This visit was part of our training program for our partners, which proposes to know representative examples of the business model in the region of Murcia,» explains the president of ASECOM, Eloy Jiménez, who was present at this event.

AMECO, founded in 1990, is dedicated to the manufacture of fresh cow and goat cheese made by hand, and distributed directly to the final consumer. Currently it offers service in the provinces of Almeria, Murcia, Albacete, Alicante, Valencia, Castellón, Tarragona, Lérida and Barcelona. And this thanks to the work of 85 workers and 40 refrigerated vans, which guarantee the perfect preservation of the product during distribution.

«They are a magnificent example of a family business that started only with livestock and little by little they have managed to set up a company that is an example of technology, work and progress,» says Jiménez, who emphasizes the importance of conferences like this one because «they are very enriching, to know other sectors and the different ways of working of entrepreneurialmurcianos «. With this proposal, ASECOM partners had previously visited other companies such as El Pozo Alimentación, Bodegas Luzón or Estrella de Lev
