JUMILLA / Asphalting Plan 2018 is improving complete roads and several sections of 15 streets

The works in Hernando de Nuño, Jacinto Benavente, Irene López Heredia, Badalona, ​​Jorge Guillén, Julio Romero de Torres and Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente have already finished. Cervantes, Canónigo Lozano and Paseo Lorenzo Guardiola are underway
A total of 15 streets of the municipality, some in full and others in specific sections, are benefiting from the Plan of Asphalting of Public Roads of Jumilla 2018. In the District of San Juan the main action has been carried out in the street Hernando de Nuño, which has been resurfaced almost completely, specifically between the streets Fundación and Echegaray. Also, the section of Jacinto Benavente street included between La Paz and Hernando de Nuño. Likewise, the Avenida de la Esperanza enters the Plan on its stretch between Paz and Miguel de Unamuno streets.

On the other hand, it has proceeded to the complete asphalting of the streets Irene Lopez Heredia, Badalona, ​​Jorge Guillén, Julio Romero de Torres and Felix Rodriguez de la Fuente. The Canónigo Lozano street, between the corners of Canalejas and Cervantes streets, as well as Cervantes street, between Cura Abellán and Canónigo Lozano, and San Francisco street in its entirety, is also being completely renovated.

In addition, work is underway on the east side of the Paseo Lorenzo Guardiola, which will be widened by one meter when moving the existing hedges, so that traffic will be more comfortable. Likewise, Príncipe Felipe Street will be paved, on the stretch between Paseo Lorenzo Guardiola and Fueros Street.

As improvements to the Asphalting Plan, Hernández Amores streets have been included, in the section of the Guardia Civil barracks, and Los Molinos street. The works are being carried out by the company Etosa Obras y Servicios Building SLU for an amount of 186,000 euros, charged to the remainder of the Treasury.

In general, it is about the sections whose asphalted worse state presented after a study previously carried out by the technicians of the City Planning Service.
