Estrella Levante, Técnicas Reunidas, Panarro Food and MIWenergía in the new ‘Breakfast with transfer’ of the UPCT and Seneca.
The Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) and the Seneca Foundation (Agency of Science and Technology of the Region of Murcia) return Tuesday to sit at the table of the Real Casino de Murcia innovative companies in the region and researchers from the Polytechnic who collaborate to turn the knowledge of the University towards the development of new products and technological solutions.
The new edition of the talks ‘Breakfast with transfer, success stories in the collaboration Polytechnic University – Business’ account this Tuesday, from 10:00, with the participation of Estrella Levante, Técnicas Reunidas, MIWenergía and Panarro Food.
The brewery, which produces 100 million liters per year, collaborates with the UPCT in minimizing the environmental impact of the desalination of brackish water, in the valorisation of waste and in the development of a water footprint.
While in the Cartagena office of the engineering company Técnicas Reunidas most of its professionals were trained in the UPCT, which teaches with the company the Diploma of Commissioner and Commissioning of industrial plants, a pioneer in Spain.
The electricity trader MIWenergía has started an R & D project together with the public universities of the Region to create a demand estimation model that is capable of improving the energy purchase process considering sensitive variables such as temperature.
For its part, the food company Panarro Food is studying with the UPCT the development of innovative juices and infusions, as well as the possibility of participating in the program of industrial doctorate.
