ARCHENA / The artist Angelines Rojo inaugurates this afternoon in Molina the exhibition «A mi manera»

Los Shutigos Center in Molina de Segura hosts the painting exhibition AMIMANERA, by Mª Ángeles Rojo Campoy, Angelines, from February 28 to March 31.

The exhibition will be inaugurated today, Thursday, February 28, at 8:30 p.m.

The exhibition Amimanera, by Mª Ángeles Rojo Campoy, Angelines, organized by the Tourism Department of the Molina de Segura Town Hall, opens to the public on Thursday, February 28. The opening ceremony will take place at 20.30 in the Los Postigos Exhibition Hall (at Calle Pensionista, nº 3). The Mayors of Molina de Segura, Esther Clavero Mira, and the Councilor for Tourism, Andrés Martínez Cervantes.

The exhibition will remain open until March 31 and may be visited: mornings, from Monday to Friday, from 10 a.m. to 1.30 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and afternoons, from Tuesday to Friday, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

The Los Postigos Center will house a display of oil paintings by Mª Ángeles Rojo Campoy, which bases its work on realistic figuration. «Back in 1958, I began painting my first oil paintings on canvas; I painted everything that caught my attention, such as landscapes, flowers, seascapes, etc. Without rules, without guidelines or professional guidance; everything came from inside me, everything I painted was done by Amimanera, always self-taught, always me. Five years ago, at the School of the Arts, directed by Herminio Estrella, I had the opportunity to perfect my style, including the portrait. »

In this exhibition, he presents more than 40 works, among which you can see different aspects, both in technique and subject.
