Diego Conesa explained that: “We socialists are not going to do politics with water, we need water policies that guarantee supply and, in this case, we see that the irrigators are more up to the circumstances than the PP, which just looking for conflict, the PSOE is in search of solutions for irrigators “.
In terms of infrastructures, Diego Conesa has highlighted the importance of the Mediterranean Corridor at the business level, but also improve and invest in medium distance and in the commuter network between the Region of Murcia and Valencia. Regarding the updating of the financing system, the PSRM-PSOE general secretary, Diego Conesa, stressed that: “It has been a pity that the PP has not addressed this issue since 2014, when it had an absolute majority, and yet, despite to that advantage in Congress, he has kept this matter in the drawer. ”
However, Diego Conesa, has assured that there is an underfunding of both communities. “What I demanded from the president of the Region of Murcia, and I do it again today, is to put the documentation of the technicians, which is available, on financing on the table to all the political groups in the region to be able to make a serious debate and work for a regional project and country, which is what the PSOE is busy. ”
