BORM publishes this Monday the call for aid for the acquisition and installation of photovoltaic panels in homes in the region that may reach up to 50 percent of the cost, the Community reports.

Individuals, lessees or usufructuaries of a house located in the Region of Murcia may be beneficiaries of these grants.

The Minister of Development and Infrastructure, Patricio Valverde, accompanied by the president of the Regional Federation of Metal Businessmen (Fremm), Alfonso Hernández, and the president of the guild of renewable energies, José Marín, reported the details of the call for aid regional, which will be resolved by competitive competition with a scale, until exhausting the budget that reaches 300,000 euros. Eligible facilities can be of three types although in all cases the maximum nominal power will be ten kilowatts (kW).

The first modality will be for the electrification by photovoltaic solar panels, of buildings not connected to the electric network and with the support of batteries such as, for example, an isolated country house. The second mode will be for installations connected to the network and without battery backup, while the third installation should also be connected to the network but with batteries.

The aid in the first and third cases will amount to two euros per watt, and in the second case the subsidy will reach 1.5 euros per watt. Only one installation per dwelling will be eligible.

Encourage self-consumption of renewable energies and contribute to the efficiency of the domestic energy system are the main objectives of these subsidies that will have a positive impact on the reduction of CO2 emissions to the atmosphere and in obtaining greater energy autonomy in households of the Region of Murcia.

Those interested in obtaining these grants must complete the application form that appears in the annex of the call that the BORM publishes today and attach a copy of the DNI or NIE copy of the applicant, in case the instructor is not authorized to obtain it.

In the event that action is taken by means of a representative, the representation must be accredited.

The application is also necessary to include a statement of responsibility of the applicant to be up to date on compliance with their tax obligations and against Social Security, if they have not received other assistance in relation to the subsidized activity and to be the owner, lessee or usufructuary of the living place.

In addition you must attach the title that proves the property or disposition of the home and copy of the proforma invoice of the eligible facility.
