After seven years of giving to the air, it is still not clear what the Popular Municipal Group is that urban and tourist model wants to impose on its fellow citizens. Meanwhile, the shabby and chabacano, the vivid image of carelessness and ineffectiveness, walk for their respects through streets, squares, parks and beaches. The cover photo invites to reflection: a palm tree stump rotting, scrap grouped forming a shelter and a poster needed for restoration in front of the Tourist Information Office. It is not clear if it is a claim for visitors or a warning of what they will find when they visit the municipality.
The quality, tourist or whatever, is not written, is not described, is perceived, enters through the eyes, in the same way that the images of urban ugliness are burdened in the mind, of what nobody wants to see where it resides or is going to visit
The photographic report that accompanies this opinion collects what, once again, «offers» the City of Los Alcázares to own and strangers, residents, holiday makers or simply visitors attracted by the goodness of its beaches and, from now on, the Fiestas of the Huerta and the Sea: landscape, public decoration and environmental quality improper of a municipality with pretensions of pilot area of tourist excellence. A month of August in which everyone can walk around here and there, touring its streets, squares and beaches.
SPEAK FOR TALKING BETRAYAL TO MEMORY
Those who know about the evolution of the municipality in this century, those who keep in their memory so attractive urban images that moved people from abroad to invest their money here, to choose this destination as a second residence, especially in some urbanizations where they enjoyed quiet and peaceful life, with a sea that filled their summer aspirations, … those who currently continue to do so, will agree with me that that «beauty» is away and that any time spent was better. Better.
Fill the political discourse with vain words, betraying the memory, ignoring the history, is an offense to the intelligence of the citizen. The HEMEROTECA attests to this.
09.08.2017.- When popular politicians with regional government responsibilities come quickly to the call of their local counterparts, especially if there is an opportunity to publish an ad in related media (see the photo), they feel so inspired by the contemplation of the results of the «miracle» produced in the last six years, which dedicate masterly phrases to the gallery. If the previous tenant of the Palacio de San Esteban said: «In Los Alcázares you can see the PP brand», the current one, just landed in the role he plays, did not want to be less: «I feel involved with Los Alcázares»

COMMENTS ON THE PHOTOGRAPHIC REPORT
Speaking to talk does not lead to anything. Showing incontestable images of a verifiable reality, summarizes, on the contrary, a difficult situation to describe only based on text. Walk the streets of the city (especially urbanizations), carefully observing some of its streets, moves to reflection and draw conclusions, the most important is that you have to radically change urban management, the recovery of everything that is being lost by abandonment, neglect and incompetence, which disfigures the eyes and punishes the senses of residents and visitors.
You have to see the images one at a time, in full screen. Six signs from as many streets suggest concrete visits that, as it can not be otherwise, end in Aranguín and Nalón, an urban birth genuinely «popular» alcazareña, unrepeatable in another city of Spain, because nowhere like here there are stubborn politicians in doing so many things wrong and all at once. A city without order or law in which it is the neighbors who show their leaders what they should do, but do not pay attention to them. Aesthetics, beauty, good management … you will not find it in this report.
