CARTAGENA / Fire in a house on Lope de Rueda street

The fire originated in the kitchen and the neighbors could control it with a fire extinguisher before the arrival of the Firemen.
Firefighters of the Fire and Rescue Extinction Service (SEIS) of the City of Cartagena checked this morning the total extinction of a fire registered in a house on the street Lope de Rueda, in the Sector Station of the city.

About twelve-fifteen it was reported by the neighbors that smoke could be seen coming out of the seventh floor of a building located at number 6 of this street.

A crew of four firemen, a corporal and a driver and an autoscale with two firemen and a driver were quickly moved to the place.

Upon arrival it was observed that the accident had been controlled by the residents with a fire extinguisher, the municipal officials proceeding to verify their total extinction and ventilation of the smoke that had flooded the house.

No neighbor was injured.
