Arrested for selling unusable mobiles to minors, including a Murcian, by Internet

The young man of 24 years old contacted the victims by a well-known social network – Among the scams is a neighbor of Archena
The Civil Guard has arrested a young man of 24 years, a resident of the town of Fuente del Maestre (Badajoz), for selling replicas of high-end mobile phones unusable to minors, with whom he contacted through a well-known social network , among them a minor from the municipality of Archena (Murcia).

The investigation has been carried out by the Civil Guard of Albacete and Zafra (Badajoz) and has concluded with the arrest of the young man as alleged perpetrator of fraud continued by the sale of replicas of high-end mobile phones using a social network , although what he later sent on reimbursement were defective terminals, broken and unusable.

The investigations began in the wake of the complaint made in January 2017 by a minor, a resident of the town of San Pedro, Albacete, in which he claimed to have contacted a person, through a social network, for a sale of two mobile phones high-end for an amount of 210 euros, however, what he received cash on delivery at his home were two terminals different from the agreed and unusable, because they had the screen broken or missing parts.

Following this complaint, the Civil Guard found out that the person who had made the scam resided in Fuente del Maestre and, apart from the scam to the neighbor of San Pedro, had conned three other minors of Astigarraga (San Sebastián). , Baeza (Jaén), Archena (Murcia) and Córdoba, for a total of 795 euros.
