The Exhibition Space Plan launched by the Ministry of Tourism and Culture this Thursday adds two new exhibitions by artists José María Garres and Alfredo Guillamón that will remain open until early October at the Local Museum of Archena and the House of the Elves of Puerto Lumbreras, respectively.
The general director of the Institute of Cultural Industries and the Arts (ICA), Marta López-Briones, highlighted “the good reception of the exhibition space project, which is allowing very different audiences to discover the work done by creators of the Region as , in this case, the Molinense José María Garres and the Murcian Alfredo Guillamón, also contributing to expand the cultural programming offered by the municipalities.
“A total of 56 samples have been programmed for this year in thirty rooms throughout the Region, projects that show the wide variety of artistic proposals of Murcia artists in contemporary art and its quality,” added the head of ICA.
‘ARA’ is the name of the exhibition that opens Garres tomorrow, at 7:00 pm, at the Archena Museum. In it, the creator of Molinense constructs, through collage, still lifes in which the canvas takes center stage, where graphic art sometimes replaces objects and transmits the artist’s imagination and his vision of culture.
The works will remain on display until October 3 from Tuesday to Friday, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., on Saturdays, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 5 p.m. 7:30 p.m., and Sundays, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The proposal of the Murcian Alfredo Guillamón is entitled ‘Shared beats’ and will open tomorrow at 20:30 hours at the Casa de los Duendes Cultural Center in Puerto Lumbreras. The wood is the protagonist of this sample of sculptures in which some terracottas are also exhibited and which revolves around the figure of the heart and the connection of its cavities.
‘Shared beats’ will remain open until October 4, from Monday to Friday, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and on Saturdays, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. .
