Students and teachers of the Miguel Medina School lived an intense sports week, of which we highlight the following activities:
On Wednesday, February 14, in a splendid road education circuit set up by the Head of Studies, Gustavo Saorín, the 4-year-old students of Mª Dolores Piñera and Mª Carmen Villanueva enjoyed riding a bicycle. For this, previously, the relatives had brought the bicycles to school, so that at the time of the circuit, they were all ready, as well as the time of collection, to expedite the exits. We want to thank you for your cooperation, because we have to admit that some of the bicycles were quite heavy.
The activity ended a thematic unit programmed for this level.
Despite the young age, these children seriously respected the few traffic signals that were applied to them, with the hope that in the future they will improve the attitude of many of the current adults who cheerfully go behind the wheel. It is fair to congratulate them on their behavior.
Friday, February 15 It took place in the Polideportivo de Archena and around the Individual Sports Day 2019, as well as the cross-country classification test in Alevin, male and female category.
Once again, our boys and girls complied and brought to the School a classification for the cross-country final (Pedro José, of 6º B), a first place in the 6th Course Orientation and another first place in the test. Petanca, 5th year, as well as several second places.
Congratulations to all.
The students were accompanied by their tutors Antonio Joaquín, Chari, Lola and Lucía, the teachers of Physical Education, Andrés and Miguel and the students of the Teaching Degree, who are doing practicals at our Center, Alejandro and Patricia.
